Lipstick Jungle Season 2
As, the season 1 of Lipstick Jungle tv show had brought just seven episodes out of thirteen. The season 2 arrives with rest of the episodes. Season two begins with episode “Chapter Eight: Pandora’s Box”. As Charles had just recovered from a heart attack, so Nico feels guilt over her affair with Kirby. Now, she decides to save her marriage. Similarly, Wendy decides to devote more time to her home and family. Victory is finding it difficult to keep distance from Joe, as he’s obsessed to get her back. Unfortunately, Charles dies due to a complication in his heart surgery and Nico learns that Charles was aware of her affair with Kirby and he was planning to sue her. A secret lover of Charles appears and this disturbs Nico. Nonetheless, she is facing the threat of her and Kirby’s relationship getting publicized. Victory develops a relationship with her new store’s contractor Rodrigo, while Joe keeps meddling. Wendy’s new project again adversely affects her personal life. Wendy gets fired and tries to fully focus on family life. Later, Nico plans an expensive Christmas celebration with Kirby, but he turns down the idea of her spending money on her. Wendy gets hurt when Shane goes on a business trip without saying goodbye to her. Finally, she heads back to “Paradore Pictures” to plan a new movie. Taking Rodrigo as her strength, Victory starts working hard for designing a new line. Wendy gets jealous over Shane’s signing with a new manager. Victory learns that Joe is going to propose her and this upsets her.
Wendy organizes a big Thanksgiving dinner and has a hectic time with Joyce, Sal and Josie joining the festivities. Also Nico and Kirby take in Charlie, due to Megan’s last minute request. Victory tries to get a new client with deep pockets while Charlie’s presence tests Nico and Kirby’s relationship and Wendy faces problems in starting her dream project.
While taking a major professional decision, Wendy realizes her true feelings for Joe Bennett and Nico develops an unusual friendship with Griffin. Wendy and Shane’s marriage comes under strain when she learns that Shane is still thinking about going on tour with Natasha Bedingfield, while Nico is questioned about her sovereignty.
In the final episode of the season which also turned out to be the series finale, Wendy makes a daring bid for a new film and finds it difficult to handle Maddie as a single parent. Nico gets a guest spot on the Today Show with Dahlia’s help and at the end of the show she finds that Kirby wants to be with her again. The episode was named “Chapter Twenty: La Vie En Pose” and was aired on 9th January 2009.
Season’s Top Ranked Episode - Chapter Fifteen: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Prada
This was the eighth episode of the season and was aired on 14th November 2008. In this episode Nico and Griffin are enjoying a lunch together when Wendy walks in on them. As a result some tension develops and the friends are engulfed by a feeling of betrayal. However, their personal problems take a backseat when they come to know that Victory is in a mess after she discovers that Joe was going to propose to her.
