Lipstick Jungle Star to Make an Appearance on Privileged
Hey guys! The future of our favorite show Lipstick Jungle remains uncertain with no new episodes being produced. However, with Brooke Shield announcing that the show has not been cancelled there is still a ray of hope flickering in the hearts of the fans. Let us pray that this hope does not turn into disappointment and the series is revives for a few more seasons at least. Meanwhile, I came across news regarding one of the stars on Lipstick Jungle. It has been reported that Robert Buckley who played the role of Kirby Atwood on the show has been selected to make a guest appearance in the final two episodes of the current season of Privileged. Reportedly, he will be playing the role of the editor-in-chief of a magazine where Meg and Will are hoping to work. The good looking guy who played Kim Raver’s shirtless boy toy in Lipstick Jungle will be free to take a spin on Privileged after the 13th and last episode of Lipstick Jungle is aired on 19th January 2009.
Lipstick Jungle has been equally loved and hated by the people. But the announcement about the cancellation of the show has really made it more popular, with the head of NBC receiving millions of lipstick bars in support of the show. The growing media pressure made him back out from his earlier announcement and he later said that he was using a wait and watch policy regarding the future of the series. He reportedly said that he would wait to see how the final episodes of the series turn out before he make a final decision about the show. And now that there is only one last episode left to be aired, I think we should be clear about the future of the series in the coming week. Although many people feel that the series is unlikely to be revived, I feel there is still hope as the show still has some fight left in it. So let us also wait and watch what becomes of this powerful series!
