Lipstick Jungle TV Show

Hey everyone! Now that our most loved tv show Lipstick Jungle has been cancelled, the star cast of the show is already moving on with their careers. Well nobody can afford to stick on with a show that has stopped airing. I really felt happy when I heard about a cast member’s new role. Well reportedly, the hot and sexy actress Brooke Shields, who played the character of Wendy Healy, on Lipstick Jungle, has a reason to smile despite the cancellation of the show. The reason behind her smile is that, Shields recently appeared in a Broadway play.

Brooke was seen in the play named Pal Joey where she was starring opposite Nathan Lane and Jane Krakowski. The play was staged at the Roundabout Theatre’s annual spring gala, called Take Me Back to Manhattan, on April 6. The lady was the only one in the play who was allowed to flirt and as per her role she flirted to her heart’s content.

Brooke Shields has been one of the most successful actresses from the show Lipstick Jungle. Her strong character of a top professional in the entertainment industry reflected the strong points of Brooke Shields’ personality. The lady has always enchanted me with her strong screen presence and the way she carries off even the toughest of roles in a very easy manner.

Portraying the character of Wendy Healy might have come naturally to Shields, as she is an equally powerful professional person in her real life as well. Being a successful actress and a supermodel, Shields could perhaps relate to the stress and struggle faced by Wendy in Lipstick Jungle. Personally, I feel that Lipstick Jungle was just not an entertaining series. It was the reflection on the trauma and struggle of women whose life seems to be a bed of roses on the outside.

It is really sad that the series did not survive beyond Season 2. I still miss the glamour glitz and most of all the insight into the lives of the high and the mighty that the show provided. But I am sure we will be entertained by the fabulous star cast in some other shows. Also who knows maybe Lipstick Jungle gets revived sometime in the future.
